The 9ᵗʰ London Short Film Festival
5th—15th January 2012
The London Short Film Festival has been charting British short film for nine years. This year, we were delighted to receive a whopping 800 UK entries, proving that short filmmaking in Britain is in very rude health. Our selection of around 300 shorts from open submissions proves that filmmaking is booming all across the UK, despite the doom and gloom stories about loss of funding.
As in previous years, we’re turning the spotlight on the next generation of filmmakers, as well as acting as an umbrella for the London alternative film scene.
