We invite visiting filmmakers and industry to spend time at the dedicated Industry Hub, and every evening we host networking drinks.
Running all week for industry guests, visiting filmmakers and anyone interested in all things shorts. Drop by our free one-stop shop during the festival and go beyond the films, behind the scenes of the industry. Aspiring scriptwriter, or just feel like reading one? Take part in a USB exchange to drop off or pick up another filmmaker’s script and be inspired. If you’d rather dig into a film library, from coffee table tomes to academic texts, there’s space to read or swap your books and DVDs, and discover film writing beyond the mainstream with a selection of magazines and zines.
The hub will be open 13:00 to 16:30 from Tuesday 24 January – Friday 27 January. Between 15:30 and 16:30 Tuesday to Friday, 1-2-1 industry surgeries will be taking place at the Hub. For more information read below.
