Building on its annual short film showcase and industry training events, the London Short Film Festival offered year-round training and network building throughout 2013 for emerging and established filmmakers, in association with our regular partners. The monthly programme held at the ICA worked with short filmmakers, helping to steer a measurable career and meaningful collaborations. 11 events across 2013 brought together directors, writers and producers and feature industry panels and focused networking with some of the biggest UK Film organisations.
Each event featured an hour long panel discussion aimed at enhancing your film knowledge on subjects such as pitching, script writing, female representation in film, the future of film festivals and digital distribution.
The conversation continued late into the evening with fellow like-minded filmmakers and industry professionals.
This project was supported by the ICA and the Creative Skillset Film Skills Fund, which is funded by the National Lottery through the BFI and by the film industry through the Skills Investment Fund.
