New Shorts #13 God’s Lonely Men, pt. 1 Under Attack
It was back in the 1970s when Travis Bickle cruised his cab around New York’s grimy streets, but here’s another chance to spend an evening with the disenfranchised male species in our popular double-bill.
1. Under Attack
Male confrontation comes to the fore in this selection of short films which deal with the “macho” under threat, and one-upmanship in battle. Watch out for the short film directorial debuts of Matthew Holness of Garth Merenghi’s Darkplace in A Gun For George, and from Kill List actor Neil Maskell in Shitkicker. Plus The League of Gentleman’s Mark Gatiss as a confused assassin in Cleaning Up.
Tickets for this programme are available on the Riverside Studios website, or by calling the box office on 0208 237 1111.
